Rosemarie Brennan, M.S., LPCMH
Rosemarie Brennan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Psychotherapist in Delaware and Pennsylvania, with over 25 years of experience working in business and counseling psychology combined. Her experience and education and wide range of clinical training are complemented by her empathic, non-judgmental and friendly nature. Rosemarie utilizes an integrated approach to psychotherapy, valuing concepts from existentialism and client-centered, humanistic theories. While emphasizing the importance of self-care, she has an appreciation for the uniqueness of every person. Much of her knowledge and capabilities stem from her work with adults in individual therapy and group therapy in an out-patient, non-profit, mental-health agency and in private practice.
Rosemarie's volunteer work included working as a mentor for WomenCare®, a mentoring program of The Center Foundation, providing counseling and support to underprivileged women in the initial stage of gaining independence and self-sufficiency. This structured partnership focused on working toward goals that were related to developing interpersonal growth, family stability, balancing family and work, relating to others, problem solving, education, career readiness, and budget management.
Having an appreciation for the value of education, Rosemarie offers informative workshops on important topics, such as maintaining a sense of self in relationships, overcoming anxiety, and life over 50/managing transition.
Rosemarie earned her Master's Degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill University in Philadelphia, PA; and her dual Bachelor's Degree from Immaculata University in Human Performance Management (Psychology) and Organization Dynamics (Business).
Rosemarie is a member of The American Counseling Association.
